Welcome to Shuswap GeoQuest
Shuswap GeoQuest is an innovative technology based concept that will showcase our region’s amazing assets. The project embraces the growing trend of using the internet and GPS systems for travel. Our aim is to increase the internet presence of the Shuswap region to make it easier to find information about the area and encourage exploration and discovery across the Shuswap through all four seasons. One of the most interesting aspects of the project is promoting geocaching in the Shuswap. Geocaching is a fun, healthy, environmentally-friendly activity that inspires visiting new places and trying new things. (Find out more about the GeoQuest project)
The Shuswap GeoQuest project wrapped up in October 2010. Shuswap Tourism will continue to promote geocaching in the region and carry on the Shuswap GeoQuest legacy.

Cache of the Month
We are looking for geocachers to create a cache of the month. Caches will be featured in the collectible 2010 geocaching calendar.
Cache Craze
People are getting involved and creating new caches or adding their personal touch as they take ownership of existing caches. It’s free and fun!
